Scope of Work

1. Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning: The primary objective was to design, supply, install, test, and commission a Single bay 33/6.6 kV outdoor switchyard located at Suryanagar and Kawadas Taluka Dahanu.

2. Contract Duration: 3 months.

Specific Tasks in the Design Phase

1. Site Assessment:

   • Conducted a thorough assessment of the site to understand geographical, environmental, and logistical factors that may influence the design.

2. Technical Specifications:

   • Developed detailed technical specifications for all components of the switchyard, including transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical equipment.

3. Electrical Design:

   • Created electrical schematics that outline the configuration of the switchyard, including connections, load calculations, and protection schemes.

4. Civil Design:

   • Designed the civil structures required for the switchyard, including foundations, control rooms, and fencing.

5. Compliance and Standards:

   • Ensured that all designs comply with relevant national and international standards, as well as local regulations.

6. Preparation of Drawings:

   • Prepared detailed engineering drawings, including layout plans, elevation views, and installation details.

7. Cost Estimation:

   • Developed a comprehensive cost estimate based on the design, including materials, labor, and overheads.

8. Review and Approval:

   • Submitted the design documents for review and obtain necessary approvals from MMRDA and other relevant authorities.

9. Coordination with Stakeholders:

   • Engaged with stakeholders, including MMRDA, local authorities, and other contractors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns during the design process.

10. Risk Assessment:

    • Performed a risk assessment to identify potential challenges during the construction and operation phases and propose mitigation strategies.
